  “My love for architecture and construction was instilled in me while growing up in a big, old house, watching and helping my parents who were always doing something to fix it up. I was inspired by the ways we transformed spaces designed and built in the 1890’s to modernize it for our family, but always keeping the old, soulful feel of the home. I have learned from every job and builder that I’ve worked with over the past 20+ years, and have gained a valuable understanding of the trades. I function as the designer on the job, but my knowledge of the construction side and appreciation for those implementing the design is what makes me unique. Everyone on the job benefits when there is a respectful relationship between the designer and builder.”
